Kevin has over 30 years' banking experience spent mainly in lending roles, which enables him to assess funding requests from both lender and client perspective.

He can quickly see the positives and negatives of a proposition and will work on these with the client to present the best possible proposal to a lender.

Kevin has worked with clients from a wide range of backgrounds, and with and different types of businesses. He also has many years' experience dealing with banks and the needs of their credit committee.

Because St Georges Finance is independent, Kevin can look at the entire market to find exactly the right type of loan for each client. He then uses the relationships he's built over many years with bankers and other lenders to secure finance tailored to the needs of individual clients.


Kevin began his banking career as a business manager with Barclays, managing a portfolio of around 120 high-value small business clients. New business development and customer service were essential to the role and lending ranged from £100k to in excess of £1m.

Before joining St Georges Finance in 2013, Kevin was an associate director with the property team of the Bank of Ireland. His focus was property developers and investors together with some SME clients. Lending ranged from £500k to £15m.

"It's essential to provide lenders with the maximum information in the briefest and clearest way. Just because you've spent weeks preparing a 50-page business plan doesn't mean a lender will have the time or inclination to read it!"
